A Little About Me

I'm Ivana- a finance and risk management professional, real estate investor, podcast host, and lifelong student of what it means to live well.

Born in Bosnia and Herzegovina, I moved to the United States at six years old and grew up in Dallas, Texas. My experiences have shaped my appreciation for resilience, new beginnings, and the many different paths a meaningful life can take.

A Foundation in Finance. A Broader View of Life.

I hold a degree in finance and have spent the past decade working in risk management and underwriting. Outside of my career, I've applied my financial knowledge through real estate investing, including experience as a landlord and Airbnb host.

My professional and personal experiences have taught me to evaluate opportunities, navigate uncertainty, and make thoughtful decisions. Over time, I've also come to appreciate that success extends beyond professional accomplishments and financial milestones.

I'm fascinated by the intersection of financial independence, relationships, wellness, and personal growth. I'm drawn to the questions that challenge us to think differently, understand ourselves more deeply, and create lives that reflect what matters most to us.

I believe growth is less about having everything figured out and more about staying curious, being honest with ourselves, and remaining open to what's next.

Through podcast interviews, YouTube videos, and lessons from my own life, I explore money, careers, relationships, wellness, and personal growth. Outside of Work

When I'm not working on Ivana Speaks, you'll usually find me with a book, a journal, on my yoga mat, or dreaming up my next travel adventure. I'm based in Austin, Texas, where I share life with my little Cavapoo, Penny.

I'm a lover of words, curious conversations, and the little things that make life meaningful. Always learning, always evolving, and enjoying the process of becoming along the way.
